Philomena C Corsner, a life long Suffern resident, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 at the age of 100. Born May 21, 1921 in Suffern, NY to Louis and Mary DeJoie. Philomena was a Seamstress and a dedicated wife of 71 years to her husband Arthur, who passed away on February 12, 2013. She was an active member of the Suffern and Hillburn seniors. She loved to crochet, often donating blankets to many organizations including the Veterans. She is predeceased by her son James of Seneca Falls NY, who passed away in February of 2021, at the age of 78. She is survived by her daughter Mary Jane (Richard) Hallahan of Malvern, Pa; her daughter in law Jean Corsner of Seneca Falls, NY. Her 4 grandchildren Troy (Terri) Corsner, Bryce (Deborah) Corsner, Michael (Carolina) Hallahan and Matthew Hallahan. Also, 13 great grandchildren Kaitlin, Daril, Kenneth, Derek, Julia, Nicholas, Thomas, Anna, Joshua, Samuel; and Emma, Maxwell and Abigail. She had one great great grandchild, David. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern NY. Burial will follow at St Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-5 PM at the Edward’s Funeral Chapel in Suffern.
