Giacomo "Jack" Repole
March 7, 1950 - November 5, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a longtime Suffern resident Giacomo “Jack” Repole. Jack passed away at Calvary Hospital after courageously fighting brain cancer on November 5, 2021. He was 71 years old. Born and raised in Staten Island, he was the son of the late Antonina and Angelo Repole. Since he was 12 years of age, Jack was deep-rooted in the produce industry. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee of Turco’s in Yorktown Heights for many years and eventually DeCicco’s in Katonah. Jack is survived by his partner Maria Doerr; his children Jack (Susan), Justin (Anna), Dylan, Cassidy and Valerie; and by his grandchildren Angelo, Isabella, Gabriella, Michael and Justin. He is also survived by his sisters Rose (Nick) DiGuglielmo and Francesca (Walter) Braun; and his sister-in-law Annette; and by his nieces and nephews Philip, Dominick, Jack, Charles, Anthony, Walter, Francine, Michael, Joan and Tonia. Jack was predeceased by his wife Andrea, son Angelo, sisters Olga Caruso and Marie Mione and brother Philip. Jack fought until the very end of his battle and influenced many lives around him. He truly was devoted to his family, many friends and ones he held most dear. Jack went too soon and will be in our hearts forever. He is now at peace and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation (https://glioblastomafoundation.org/).
